QOLF is a Proudly South African game developed recently that is a cross between golf and croquet. The game is best described as “Action Golf”. Played on this 6000 m2 mini 9 hole qolf course, complete with tee boxes, greens fairways and bunkers, this is no longer just a great family fun game and unique golf practice tool, it’s the ultimate politically correct golf day where everyone can have serious fun and there’s no intimidation for those who are not golfers.
Unlike on a golf course, for your Qolf day you could make up some of your own company rules. The course has numerous “Sponsors” area’s for interaction with the players during the game making this a fantastic option for fundraising qolf days. The entire venue may be hired for the day for an event like a car launch but a morning or afternoon private qolf day would accommodate most clients looking for a exclusive experience.
The Qolf Course can accommodate up to 36 people at a time and for Qolf Days and Corporate Challenges, a shot gun start is implemented. This means that four people on each tee start simultaneously and rotate until each team has completed 9 frames. Structured on this basis, the course will accommodate 36 people every 30 to 40 minutes. In many cases, the competitors will want to play two or three 9 frame rounds per competition.
The facilities include a clubhouse overlooking the Qolf Course with a patio, Qolf bar and complete change room facilities. Elevated above this overlooking the pool and Qolf Course are small function rooms, a deck and the open plan kitchen.
