THE BANQUET HALL AND CHAPEL

This is where it all began for Avianto, a spell-binding blend of charm and grace has ensured that many a Bride and Groom have left our valley deeply fulfilled and content in the celebration of their union. Rural classicism has never been captured in such an honest way as with the Banquet Hall and its adjacent non-denominational Chapel. Set in a truly romantic scene, this facility is dedicated to one wedding per day. The relaxed atmosphere and absolute focus during the preparations is priceless.

The intelligent design of the venue allows up to 250 guests (without a dance floor) or 200 guests with a dance floor, from its minimum of 80 with round, 10 seater tables and cream damask linen, all without losing the feeling of intimacy. The venue is totally climate controlled for comfort throughout the year, with a roaring fire for a beautiful winter wedding.

THE BALLROOM AND FIRESIDE ROOM / AMPHITHEATRE

This is Avianto's grandest creation. Avianto's stunning venue, the Ballroom, will have you overawed by reminiscence of the romantic style of yesteryear. The two winding staircases sweep down to the tables surrounding the wooden dance floor. Various seating arrangements give flexibility accommodating from 80 up to 300 guests with a dance floor and rectangular tables seating 10 guests each, with white damask linen. The magnificent covered patio is for your exclusive use.

In the event of your wedding requiring additional seating, the Fireside Room may be used to accommodate an additional 100 guests; this creates the possibility of hosting a Grand Celebration for almost 450 of your closest friends!

Two options are available for your ceremony when booking the Ballroom. The first is an authentic outdoor stone amphitheatre overlooking the Crocodile River. The second is the Fireside Room with seating for up to 240 people including an alter and the option of the fire roaring during winter ceremonies. Guests will exit directly onto the patio for drinks prior to entering the reception venue. In the event of rain, the large entrance foyer and bar area are available. (The chapel is dedicated to the function at the Banquet Hall).

FIRESIDE ROOM (FOR SMALLER WEDDINGS)

The Fireside Room is the perfect setting for a smaller more intimate wedding, set with round 8 seater tables and damask linen, the Fireside Room proves to be a beautiful venue for less than 80 guests, despite it not offering exclusive use of the entire building.

The Fireside Room is available on Mondays - Thursdays excluding public holidays and the day prior to a public holiday. As with every venue at Avianto it provides for an exclusive, exquisite wedding. However, due to the nature of this particular venue, exclusivity of the entire building is not provided for.

There are 2 options for the exchange of vows ceremony. The first option, is to conduct the ceremony in an area incorporated in the Fireside Room. An alter and candles provide the delicate finishing touches to this picture. The other option is to make use of the stone Amphitheatre on the banks of the river, with nature as your witness.

A private patio overlooking the dam is the ideal location for guests to relax with a quiet cocktail prior to entering the Reception.
