The area is attracting significant commercial, residential and leisure development in what is currently one of the fastest, high-income growth nodes in the country. Just 3 km up the road from Avianto Estate at Muldersdrift’s Pinehaven Node, is Cradlestone Mall. A mall that boasts a variety of different stores, as well as many restaurants to choose from and 4500 parking bays, making shopping a pleasure. Retail Africa co-founder, Jannie Kruger, says the surrounding area is developing into a strong commercial, office and entertainment node and believes the current developments will act as a further catalyst for future development in the area.
Just over the road, Tsogo Sun has recently completed a R480 million, refurbishment of its Silverstar Casino which has change the face of entertainment on the West Rand. Tsogo Sun introduced substantial entertainment content like that offered at Monte Casino.
On the eastern boundary of Muldersdrift, Lanseria airport is busy with the construction of a new R150-million 45-m-wide and 3-km-long runway, adjacent to the existing runway which was built in the 1970s and is coming to the end of its life. This will enable the airport to cater for the larger newer-generation aircraft now being used by airlines.
Avianto Estate enjoys easy access onto the N14 offering direct access to Cradlestone Mall and Silverstar Casino to the West and Lanseria airport, Fourways and Pretoria to the East. Positioned within beautiful countryside which is ever so popular with cyclists, tourists and nature lovers alike, the area to the North offers various weekend attractions in and around the neighboring game farms, country restaurants and Cradle of Humankind World Heritage site.
